If you have not seen their video for Forced Gender Reassignment I hope the first thing you do is open a window on your computer and watch it immediately. If you type it into youtube, you will also see videos compiled of just people reactions to the video. It pulls no punches and is a gore assault that will satisfy anyone who has ever wanted to pummel people for coming to your door trying to spread the “Word”. I know I sometimes get over exuberant with my reviews, and it may seem I love everything I hear, well in this case it is true, I really love Cattle Decapitation. They are an assault of technical grindcore. Travis Ryan can do so many sick things with his voice, guttural, grind, high, low. Their are some highs on Dead Set on Suicide that I think Rob Halford would stop and say, “holy fucking shit!”. They began as an all vegetarian band and while now just two members are vegetarian now lyrically and personally they do support animal superiority over the cruelty of mankind. Gristle Licker and Do Not Resuscitate are real stand outs for me but the album is solid from beginning to end. I have been listening to this album on and off for months.
