Corpus Mortale - FleshCraft

Hailing from Denmark, the land that brought us the true King, Diamond that is, has brought us another album from Corpus Mortale. I liked the With Lewd Demeanor CD, there was a beefy, but not overly produced sound to the band. I like Iniquity which also had Rosenthal and Erikson. That CD also had that sort of beefy sound to them, at least on Serenadium. Fleshcraft has all the right ingredients, it is heavy, crushing vocals but for some reason, and I have been re-listening to the CD, it sort of drags in spots where you sort of want the song to crank. Or  It may not be that at all, it could just be at this point the familiarity of the music is working against me right now. If you are a fan of Corpus you most likely will not be disappointed. If you have not heard them before this would not be a bad intro although I would recommend their earlier work.
